Holiday resorts to caravan parks in Australia’s Shark Bay region
The only accommodation in Monkey Mia itself is the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, where luxury and budget options are available, as well as restaurants, shops and a wide selection of tours.
There are plenty of alternatives in the town of Denham, just a short drive from Monkey Mia, offering accommodation in holiday resorts, hotels and motels, as well as caravan parks, camping grounds and beachfront villas.
For those looking for something out of the ordinary in the Shark Bay region, why not book into a station stay. Or, if you have a passion for the great outdoors, pitch a tent at Steep Point, head for the caravan parks at Nanga Bay or Hamlin Pool, camp overnight on Dirk Hartog Island or stay in the historic homestead. Strict regulations apply on Dirk Hartog Island and you will need to book in advance.
View the Shark Bay accommodation page for the full list of options. Alternatively, visit the Department of Environment and Conservation website for national park camping grounds or contact the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery Centre for further details.
