Shark Bay Fishing Fiesta

The 23rd Shark Bay Fishing Fiesta will be held in May and combines a fishing competition with plenty of  entertainment, outdoor markets, quiz nights and much more. The event is held over a week and is attended by people from all over the country.

Ningaloo WhaleShark Festival 

Exmouth: Friday 26 to Sunday 28 May 2017

The annual Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival highlights the community’s relationship with the yearly visitation of the whale shark, the largest fish in the ocean.The Festival is for all ages and is possibly the only event in honour of that unique, spectacular creature, the whale shark which is recognised both nationally and internationally.

Mullewa Muster and Rodeo

Mullewa: WA Day Long Weekend - Friday 2 to Sunday 4 June 2017

In 2017, the Mullewa Muster will host the Australian Championship Rodeo on Saturday June 3, 2017Don your boots, hats and chaps for the ultimate family experience of the red dust, the 'beaut ute' competition, rodeo action and country music in the outback.

Kalbarri Adventurethon and Canoe, Cray Carnival

Kalbarri:  WA Day Long Weekend - Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June 2017

Grab a mate and compete as a team or individuals at Adventurethon in Kalbarri.Starting with the Great Trail Run into town, pick up the kayaks for a paddle and finish with a mountain bike along the Murchison river and through the Kalbarri National Park.

Shark Bay Far Western Speedway Championship

Denham: Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July 2017

The Far Western Speedway Championships is part of teh Shark Bay Winter Festival. This is a three day event starting on Friday with a street parade, Saturday is the Shark Bay Far Western Speedway Championship (this is the biggest one day speedway meet in Australia) followed by entertainment and fireworks, and Sunday hosts the Winter Markets with side show, stalls and more entertainment.

The Mid West Car Sprints plus Show'n'Shine

Port Denison: Sunday 24 September 2017

Show N Shine
- Vehicles from the normally hidden away beauties to the all-out street machines will be on display for everyone’s enjoyment. All vehicles are welcome to come along, park up and enjoy the day. 

Sprints - Single car timed experience, Port Denison was the ideal choice with a section of tarmac roads along the picturesque sea front that would provide a challenging 1.2km course.
