Welcome to Giralia Outback Stay, offering a variety of accommodation, from camping through to homestead rooms.
Established in 1888, Giralia Station has aesthetic, historic and cultural significance. The original section of Giralia Station, are a prime example of construction in remote locations before the turn of the century. It provides an insight into the lifestyle of pastoralists in the north of Western Australia.
Giralia is located in the beautiful Gulf of Exmouth, which is a 45 minute drive from the homestead. It's also a fishermen's haven and an adventurers thrill. Giralia is also very popular for bird watches, fossil hunters, 4WD'ers and bush walkers.
We have accomodation to suit all. Ensuite homestead accomodation, backpacker accomodation, as well as homestead camping for large rigs, caravans, camper trailers and tents. Unwind with a cold drink at the homestead, whilst overlooking the red sand dunes and watch the sun set, or sit by your own private fire in the breezeway and experience stars like never before. Stay at the homestead with hot water shower and kitchen facilities for the night and go down to the beach in the day.
If you want some more privacy and want a once in a lifetime experience, you can camp down at Giralia Bay on the front of the coast. Gaze at the stars at night and fish or swim the bay in the day.
The Bay offers the most authentic Australian outback beach-camping, allowing you to experience the redness of the Australian desert, the calmness of the Ningaloo Gulf, the excitement of catching a fish or a mud crab, the thrill of exploring the unknown and the beauty of the midnight stars... its a legitimate once in a life time experience.
