Wittwer Farm looks forward to welcoming you to our farm, birdwatchers & photographer studio from August and September during wildflower and bird season.

Come for the bird watching, the views across the wheatbelt from your accommodation on top of the granite outcrop, the frogs, the photographic opportunities, the lovely old eucalypts and the ever popular wildflowers at their best in August and September.

Hike through remnant vegetation, covenanted bush sites, see old stone dwellings and imagine life on the land 100 years ago.

Visit the famous Macpherson Homestead, the oldest farm in the district, Yarra Yarra Lakes lookout, smart art shows run by #North Midland Project and relish the local cafe “One L of a Good Feed” for its exemplary cuisine and it’s licensed!

We are a working farm and operate a small, specialist accommodation business for birdwatchers and photographers in the Midwest, near Carnamah.

We are only open by appointment and at least two days' notice is required. Tours for bird watchers, wildflowers and/or local history are possible. Did you say you like frogs? Come frogging with us, #FrogID to record and send to the National Museum.
