Day 1
Perth to Geraldton (419km – 4.5hrs)
Travel north along the Indian Ocean Drive (continues north from Wanneroo Road), through the coastal towns of Cervantes, Jurien Bay and Dongara-Port Denison.
Explore the unique landscapes of Greenough, with its leaning trees as well as the beautiful Chapman Valley before making your way to Geraldton's town centre and staying at the newest four-star hotel - The Gerald - a modern seven-storey hotel and conference centre featuring onsite restaurant and rooftop bar.

Stay just north of Geraldton - Oakabella Homestead in Northampton is Heritage Tourism at its finest. It’s also known as WA’s most ‘spooky’ haunted house! Park up the RV or pitch a tent; it’s also pet-friendly so your pooch is very welcome. Enjoy lunch or some light refreshments including their famous (and award-winning) Devonshire tea (the scones are amazing!) but don’t forget to take the homestead building and heritage tour, on offer three-times daily.

Day 2
Geraldton to Shark Bay (307km – 3.5hrs)
For a remote and exclusive accommodation for up to 14 people, stay at Dirk Hartog Island situated in the pristine World Heritage Shark Bay Area and just metres from the Shark Bay Marine Park. Accommodation options include the self-contained rustic Villa or the Eco Lodge - the original limestone shearers' quarters built over a century ago. Tourists visit the island for its unique and endangered bird and wildlife, 4WDing, fishing, snorkelling and bushwalking. Bookings are essential.

Day 3
Shark Bay to Kalbarri (375km – 4.5hrs)
Known for its rugged cliff-line, inland gorges and National Parks, Kalbarri is home placed between the Indian Ocean and the Murchison River. Stay where the sunset meets the sea, Kalbarri Seafront Villas is superbly located in the heart of Kalbarri right across from the beach.

Day 4
Kalbarri to Perth (573km – 6hrs)
Wake up early and take the scenic coastal road out of Kalbarri. Whilst in Kalbarri you have the option to view the Pink Lake (Hutt Lagoon) from the air via a scenic tour or by road, taking the George Grey Drive towards the town of Port Gregory. Continuing south towards Perth, consider a rest-stop at Dongara-Port Denison for a sweet treat or learn more about rum distilling with a Tour and Taste at Illegal Rum Tender.
