With the world’s largest fringing reef, a heritage-listed national park, and an abundance of rare flora and fauna, there’s so much more to love at Ningaloo.
At Ningaloo, the Whale Sharks are just the beginning of the story.
While hundreds of these iconic gentle giants congregate in Ningaloo’s crystal-clear waters, there’s so much more for nature lovers to tick off their bucket list.
From Ningaloo Marine Park to Cape Range National Park, Ningaloo offers both marine and terrestrial natural wonders. No wonder Ningaloo earned its UNESCO World Heritage listing back in 2011.
As a base for further exploration, visitors will find a warm welcome in the coastal towns of Exmouth, Coral Bay and Carnarvon. Covering 300km Ningaloo stretches far and wide - from Red Bluff in the South, the Muiron Islands in the North, and Bundegi Beach in the East.
Ningaloo also serves as a natural gateway to many other awe-inspiring Western Australian regions. The Kennedy Range National Park is just a 3-hour drive east of Carnarvon; Onslow is 4-hour drive north from Exmouth and the Mackerel Islands, a 35 minute flight from Exmouth. A 6.5-hour drive east from Exmouth reveals Western Australia’s second largest national park, Karijini National Park.
