A number of organisations along the Coral Coast have recently been recognised as finalists (and winners!) for a range of impressive and prestigious awards, with several operators walking away from awards nights with a brand new trophy or two to add to their shelves.
Perth Airport Western Australian Tourism Awards
The annual Perth Airport Western Australian Tourism Awards this year took place on Saturday 10 November at Crown Perth. These awards have been running for 45 years, and aim to recognise organisations and individuals who excel in the tourism field. The following Australia's Coral Coast members were recognised at these awards:
Live Ningaloo

Silver | Adventure Tourism
Live Ningaloo operates out of Exmouth, and specialises in bespoke boat tours, offering personalised and unforgettable Ningaloo Experiences. Live Ningaloo offers a range of customisable whale shark, humpback whale, and Ningaloo Reef experiences for small groups. The team at Live Ningaloo focus largely on environmental sustainability across their operations, and they are passionate about protecting the precious Ningaloo Reef. Their adaptability and commitment to providing eco-friendly tours have led them to be the very deserving recipients of the Silver Award in both the Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism categories.

Coral Coast Helicopter Services
Bronze | Tour and Transport Operators
Based in Carnarvon, Coral Coast Helicopter Services is a family-owned business offering a range of professional aviation services. It offers a number of incredible tours, ranging from five-minute scenic flights to full-day tours, as well as mustering services and air work services suited to capturing aerial footage. It's no wonder why the relatively new business (established 2015) was recognised at the Awards Night, receiving the Bronze Award in the Tour and Transport Operators category.

RAC Cervantes Holiday Park
Gold | Caravan and Holiday Parks
The family-favourite RAC Cervantes Holiday Park, walked away with the Gold Award for the Caravan and Holiday Parks category. Only a short drive from the astounding Pinnacles Desert (Nambung National Park), the Holiday Park is home to new two and three bedroom poolside villas, a nature playground for the kids, BBQ area, swimming pool and kids' activity area. It's easy to see why RAC Cervantes Holiday Park was the recipient of this award!

Caravan Industry Association WA
Silver | Excellence in Tourism Education and Training
The Caravan Industry Association Western Australia is a non-profiting organisation, which aims to represent and provide its members with a wide range of services that will assist in the operations of their business and raise industry awareness among consumers. It is seen as the peak Caravan and Camping Industry within the State, and has been formally recognised for their hard work by being awarded the Silver Award in the Excellence in Tourism Education and Training category.

AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence
The AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence have been honouring and celebrating excellence within the hospitality industry and continue to acknowledge the hard work and successes of hospitality businesses.

Rapidly becoming one of the region's most sought after beverages, the brews of Froth Craft Brewery aren't the only thing putting the Brewery ahead of the rest. Located in Exmouth, Froth Craft Brewery is a family-friendly restaurant, micro-brewery and live music venue, where the kitchen consistently serves up fantastic food, the bar pours exceptional craft beer and the cafe pumps out phenomenal coffee. It's fantastic that Froth Craft Brewery were so aptly recognised at the Awards, placing as Finalists in three categories, and taking out First Place in the category of WA's Best Tourism Initiative.

Situated within the trendy Gerald Apartment Hotel in Geraldton, the Old Man & The Sea is a nautical-themed rooftop bar offering incredible views over the Indian Ocean. The bar is open to both guests and general public, and features an extensive range of beers, wines and cocktails, as well as offering a selection of tasty burgers and street food. This fantastic open-air venue was listed as a Finalist in both the WA's Best New Venue and WA's Best Outdoor Area categories.

The ever-popular Finlay's Kalbarri was listed as a Finalist in the category of Best Boutique Brewery, following the recent addition of its onsite microbrewery. Alongside this addition, recent developments to their kitchen saw Finlay's listed as a Finalist in the category of Best Redeveloped Venue. It was also recognised as a Finalist in the WA's Best Outdoor Venue category, with diners enjoying fresh local seafood, and craft beer on tap in the rustic outdoor area of the property. A favourite among locals and visitors alike, it's wonderful to see Finlay's Kalbarri recognised for their consistent delivery of exceptional food, drink and hospitality!
