Swim with Whale Sharks in a Weekend

Take a morning flight from Perth to Exmouth's Learmonth Airport with Qantas (there are 2 morning flights that depart at 6am and 10am). Jump on your pre booked shuttle with Exmouth Bus Charter for their door-to-door service, or hire a car with AVIS Australia and upon arrival, check into your pre-booked accommodation in Exmouth.

Whale shark tours also operate out of Coral Bay so if you have booked to depart from here, journey south for approximately 90 minutes and check in to your accommodation. Note, if driving to Coral Bay, pre-booking a hire car is recommended.

Spend the day exploring Exmouth town, stop into the Ningaloo Aquarium and Discovery Centre to learn about the area, enjoy a freshly crafted beer from Whalebone Brewery or Froth Craft Brewery, and enjoy lunch at one of Exmouth’s eateries.

Spend the afternoon by the turquoise waters of Town Beach before enjoying a dinner at a range of restaurants ranging from a casual burger to a freshly caught seafood platter.

It’s Whale shark swim day!

Your tour operator will pick you up from your accommodation in the morning with complimentary transfers. Morning tea is provided on board before a shallow reef snorkel above the Ningaloo Reef.

Embark on a thrilling whale shark swim, gliding beside the biggest fish in the sea. We can guarantee you’ll be spell bound by their enormous size and beautiful pattern. Lunch is provided on board before one last snorkel in the inner reef, witnessing an abundance of marine life.

You’ll get dropped back to your accommodation between 4pm and 5pm.

Wake up early and have breakfast at one of the local cafes.

Before your afternoon return flight (usually departing around 3pm), make the most of your day by joining a morning/half day glass bottom boat tour that takes you over the Mildura Shipwreck and snorkel the reef or opt for a Yardie Creek Boat Tour.

Finish your whale shark weekend sweet, by tantalizing your tastebuds on Sweet Ningaloo’s whale shark season inspired gelato, rippled with white chocolate and natural blue spirulina.

Get picked up by Exmouth Bus Charter from your accommodation who will drop you off to Learmonth Airport before your flight back to Perth.
