Did you know that when it comes to tourism marketing - the state of Western Australia is divided into five tourism regions?

Each of these regions has a dedicated Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) responsible for marketing the region. The activities of each RTO are undertaken with assistance and financial support from the tourism industry and Tourism Western Australia.

As you already operate a tourism business in the Coral Coast, you will know about the array of amazing experiences and scenery our region has to offer.

Our job at Australia’s Coral Coast is to let everyone else know. We are responsible for branding and marketing the Coral Coast region within Western Australia’s top leisure holiday destination.

To achieve this we work with our members from Cervantes to Exmouth and inland via the Wildflower Country Shires bordering the Midlands Road to Mullewa to showcase the Coral Coast to domestic and international markets and increase visitation and dispersal throughout the region.

Membership with our organisation is a mutually beneficial relationship and suits all businesses that are stakeholders of the Coral Coast's tourism industry.

Promotions via travel trade and consumer shows

Each year we attend multiple travel trade events and consumer holiday expos both within Australia and in key international markets representing our region and as one of WA’s five regional tourism organisations.

Opportunities will arise throughout the year where members can add their product profile to our information kits distributed to product managers and travel agents at trade events such as Australian Tourism Exchange and have their brochures distributed at consumer holiday expos such as Perth Caravan & Camping Show.

Trade training and familiarisations

Throughout the year, there are a number of trade and agent familiarisations scheduled, hosting trade from both domestic and international markets. Familiarisations are coordinated with the experiences relevant to the particular market in mind, and often prove valuable in educating trade, showcasing new products and precinct developments.

A gold membership will give you top priority for consideration towards an involvement in trade and agent familiarisations.

Public relations and media exposure

There will be opportunities to be featured in member newsletters sent to the trade and media databases, media releases plus trade (Chinese translated) and media kits updated by ACC regularly. Annually we partake in twice-yearly domestic media pitch trips, in addition to regular contact by phone or email as well as annual media pitch trips in the USA and UK.

Digital Marketing

A schedule of digital marketing activities ensures an engaged consumer audience is provided with all the information they require to plan their visit to Perth and beyond to the Coral Coast. This includes social media and a regular e-newsletter to our consumer database of domestic and international prospects and past visitors. The digital marketing activities drive traffic directly to Australia's Coral Coast's website. As part of your membership, you have an allocated page on our website. Our website sees an average of 75,000 unique visitors per month.

Additionally, ACC is very active on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube

Media relations and familiarisations

Along with trade and agent familiarisations, there are a number of media and journalist familiarisations scheduled via the same means - coordinated by Tourism Australia, Tourism WA and Australia's Coral Coast, hosted and assisted by ACC.
