From 21 August to 5 September 2026, the Gascoyne Food Festival showcases the very best of one of Western Australia’s most remarkable regions. Spanning Carnarvon, Exmouth, Shark Bay and the wider Gascoyne, the festival brings together local producers, chefs, growers, fishers, cultural custodians and passionate communities to create a unique program of unforgettable experiences.Guests can enjoy everything from long-table feasts and coastal dining events to station stay celebrations, hands-on workshops, cultural experiences and evenings around the campfire under star-filled outback skies. More than just a food festival, it is an invitation to explore the region’s landscapes, stories and people, offering authentic experiences that leave a lasting impression long after the journey ends.

A highlight of the 2026 event is the Taste of the Gascoyne Food Trail, an exciting part of the program which showcases the region's exceptional local produce and culinary talent as you embark on a self-guided journey of flavour from the red cliffs of Shark Bay to the turquoise waters of Exmouth.
Plus, you have the chance to vote for your favourite dish via a QR code at each venue, the dish with the most votes will be crowned the "Taste of the Gascoyne Signature Dish" for 2026! Voters also get the opportunity to win a variety of prizes along the way.
