A dedicated playground keeps kids entertained, while camp kitchens and BBQ areas mean shared meals are easy. The park has been designed with families in mind, offering spaces that are safe, social, and stress-free.

From the little conveniences to big family must-haves, the park is all about hassle-free holidays:
Kalbarri isn’t a one-night stopover - it’s a destination that deserves time. Extend your stay to truly experience its natural icons:
Walk out on twin skywalks suspended more than 100-metres above the Murchison River, providing remarkable views. Sunrise or sunset here is something special!
This natural sandstone arch is one of WA’s most photographed icons, formed from layers of tumblagooda sandstone. Walk down a picturesque trail to view the rock formation that frames the rugged upstream view of the Murchison River.
With more than a dozen marked trails ranging from short, family-friendly strolls to challenging half-day hikes, you’ll want several days just to sample them. The Z-Bend Lookout and Loop Walk reveal the park’s rugged inland beauty, while the Bigurda Trail hugs the dramatic coastal cliffs for over 8km. There’s certainly a trail for everyone.
Kalbarri National Park also extends to the coastline, where powerful waves crash against 100-metre cliffs. With the coastline so close to your doorstep, you can enjoy many water-based activities. Spend mornings at Blue Holes Marine Sanctuary with a snorkel, afternoons surfing at Jake’s Point, and evenings watching the sun dip at Red Bluff. For anglers, the coastline is a paradise - cast a line from the rocks at Pot Alley, fish straight off the beach at Red Bluff, or try your luck at sheltered estuary spots closer to town.
With more time, you can take in nearby highlights like Hutt Lagoon (Pink Lake) - a bubblegum-hued wonder just south of town. The lake is pink all year round, but best viewed at midday when the sun is at its highest.
Booking local tours adds another dimension to your holiday. Drift down the Murchison River on a wildlife cruise, rev your engine on a quad bike along Wagoe Beach, or stargaze beneath some of the clearest skies in the Southern Hemisphere from the Skywalk. Extended stays make it possible to balance these experiences with plenty of downtime back at the park.
Kalbarri is about more than ticking off attractions - it’s about experiencing the Coral Coast lifestyle. Staying a few extra nights means:
Whether you're planning a quiet riverside retreat, a pet-inclusive family trip, or an adventurous exploration of the Coral Coast's geology and wildlife, Tasman Holiday Parks - Kalbarri delivers it all - and with coastal charm and comfort.
