The Carnamah-Eneabba Wildflower Drive provides one of the largest and most spectacular wildflower displays in Western Australia. Allow an hour or more to enjoy the self-drive tour and appreciate the beauty of the natural floral exhibition and the photographic opportunities along the route.
On arrival in the picturesque coastal town of Carnamah you will be welcomed with a range of activities including its incredible bird-watching at the nearby Yarra Yarra salt lake. The lake is found within the globally recognised Southwest Australia Ecoregion which spans from Esperance in the South-East to Shark Bay in the North-West.
Just three hours drive north of Perth, the Carnamah-Eneabba Wildflower Drive will be sure to delight flora enthusiasts, with over 180 species of fauna in the region.
For the 2019 season, there have been some early sightings of orchids appearing in the vicinity and surrounds of Eneabba, notably on Rose-Thompson Road, south-east of Eneabba.
According to reports, the everlastings are beginning to appear, these are generally more prolific between Carnamah and Perenjori and I would expect that another couple of weeks and they will really be out in bloom.
