Day One

Perth to Monkey Mia

Take your 2-hour flight from Perth to Shark Bay with Regional Express, landing at Monkey Mia Airport just outside Denham, the main township of the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. Grab a shuttle to head into Denham to pick up your hire car, or take a tour to visit the remarkable Hamelin Pool stromatolites – the oldest living fossils in the world and the calm and crystal waters of Shell Beach – a 60 kilometre stretch of beach made up entirely of tiny shells.

Stop at Eagle Bluff for spectacular ocean views along a 100-metre walkway where sharks, dugongs, rays and large fish are regular visitors.

Take a cruise to see the magnificent wildlife of Monkey Mia in the Shark Bay Marine Park.

Day Two

Shark Bay

Spend the morning to see the famous Monkey Mia friendly bottlenose dolphins that visit the shores daily.

Go on an adventure to see Shark Bay with a scenic flight and view Dirk Hartog Island national park and the majestic Francois Peron National Park from the air.

On your return, head into Denham to visit Ocean Park Aquarium. Have some fun with a quad bike tour of the coastline.

Day Three

Shark Bay

Explore Shark Bay by land with a range of tours, or specifically hone your interest in discovering the indigenous culture of the Shark Bay region.

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Perth.
