Wildflower Country
Discover some of Western Australia's most stunning displays of wildflowers as they colour the outback landscape of Wildflower Country from July to October each year.
Australia's Coral Coast is home to thousands of species of wildflowers, many of which are unique to the region and cannot be found anywhere else on Earth.
Wildflower Country starts 1 hour, 45 minutes' drive north of Perth and comprises the inland farming towns of Dandaragan, Badgingarra, Eneabba, Carnamah, Coorow, Three Springs, Mingenew, Mullewa and their surrounding areas. The region comes to life with a range of nature trails and heritage-focused activities while the towns are also rich with history and heritage, and offer otherworldly stargazing opportunities year-round.
Biodiversity hotspot Coalseam Conservation Park is renowned for its colourful carpets of pink, gold, cream and white everlasting flowers that burst into bloom each season and cover the park's dramatic terrain of rugged cliffs, rocky outcrops and red soil. Places such as Lesueur National Park, Cape Range National Park and the Shark Bay World Heritage Area have wildflowers blooming all year.

Dandaragan
Dandaragan is a charming farming town, home to lush pastures and fertile farming land that produces award winning organic beef, olive oil and fruit orchards. Heritage buildings pay homeage to the town's history, while the Dandaragan Way is a scenic tourist drive that takes you through the southern end of Wildflower Country.
Badgingarra
Situated at the edge of the Badgingarra National Park, the town is renowned for its diverse bushland which comes alive with wildflowers in late winter and throughout spring. A range of nature and heritage walk trails offer incredible wildflower viewing during season.
Eneabba
Sitting among a world-class biodiversity hotspot, it's no surprise that the landscape around Eneabba comes alive with extensive wildflower displays during season. Western Flora Caravan and Tourist Park is an ideal base during wildflower season, while nearby Lake Indoon is a large freshwater lake that's popular for water-skiing, picnics and camping year-round.
Coorow
The inland farming town of Coorow offers great wildflower viewing opportuniities during season, including walk trails, wildflower drives and the Coorow Farm.
Carnamah
Wildflowers, salt lakes, stargazing and history - Carnamah boasts a mix of attractions. The countryside around the town explodes into colour during wildflower season, while the town's minimal light pollution makes it a popular location for astrotourism and astrophotographers.
Three Springs
This quaint, picturesque country town is renowned for its old wheat silos, unique wildflowers and scenic widflower towns. Gain insight into Western Australia's heritage along the town's Heritage Trail and in the surrounding areas.
Mingenew
Mingenew sits in the heart of Wildflower Country and is surrounded by prime wildflower hotspots, such as Coalseam Conservation Park, Mingenew Hill and Depot Hill Reserve.
Mullewa
At the northern end of Wildflower Country lies Mullewa, a town that is as rich in heritage as it is in wildflowers. Wildflower trails around town become a blaze of colour and floral diversity during season, and the rare wreath flower can be found around nearby Pindar.
