If you're travelling through the region and plan to capture still or video footage for commercial purposes, you'll need to obtain filming permits. For any National Park filming permits contact the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation & Attractions. For all other photography and filming enquiries, contact the relevant local Shire or Council.

Members of the public and commercial operators can request permission to operate drones by completing the RPA recreational use application form and contacting the relevant local Parks and Wildlife Office.

Please note that all photography, filming and/or drone applications must be submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the intended photography, filming or drone use date(s).
