Bumbaks is a must visit in Carnarvon, offering a diverse array of award-winning preserves, ice creams, dried fruits, cakes, and smoothies. What sets them apart is their commitment to sustainability; built on the premise of utilising fresh produce that would typically go to waste.
Bumbaks not only grows a substantial portion of their own produce, with a special focus on mangos and bananas, but they also collaborate with local growers to rescue fruits and vegetables that would normally be deemed too unappealing for mainstream supermarkets.
Their mango smoothies and choc coated bananas have become local legends and their preserves have won over 100 awards at the Perth Royal Agricultural Show. Owner, Jo, and her family, have been farming locally for generations and she champions both sustainability and tourism in Carnarvon. It is also just one stop along the Fruit Loop Trail!
