The Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash (The Dash) is a unique adventure tourism event combining high-octane motorsport with an authentic outback experience. Held in Carnarvon, Western Australia, the Dash is a gruelling two-day desert race featuring extreme buggies, 4WDs, motorbikes and quads competing across one of Australia's premier off-road racing tracks.
Attracting competitors and spectators from across the state and beyond, the event is a powerful drawcard for regional visitation, showcasing the rugged beauty of the Gascoyne while delivering an adrenaline-fuelled spectacle. Delivered entirely by a passionate volunteer committee, supported by local and interstate motorsport enthusiasts, the event reflects the spirit and resilience of regional Western Australia. The Dash operates under the auspices of peak governing bodies, Motorsport Australia (MA) and Motorcycling Western Australia (MWA), ensuring a professionally run and sanctioned competition.
The Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash forms Round 3 of the Western Australian Off-Road Racing Championship for car competitors, contributing to a five-round statewide series and attracting a strong and competitive field each year.
