Australia’s Coral Coast

Depart Geraldton Airport for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on this one-hour flight to see the Pink Lake at Hutt Lagoon near Port Gregory.

Fly up the coast from Geraldton to the sandy shores and brilliant blues of Australia's Coral Coast up to the Pink Lake.

The lake contains a pink hue created by the presence of carotenoid-producing algae Dunaliella salina, a source of ß-carotene, a food-colouring agent, and a source of vitamin A.

The Pink Lake is approximately 70 square kilometres with most of it lying a few metres below sea level and fed by marine waters through springs.

After circling the lake head back along the coast and over the town to the airport.
