Nestled approximately 30 minutes south of Kalbarri town, Lucky Bay near Kalbarri offers an off-the-beaten-track escape, distinguishable from its more famous counterpart in Esperance. Accessible solely by four-wheel-drive (4WD), this beachfront nature-based camping area is an idyllic retreat for those seeking a secluded getaway. The days here are spent by the beach, engaging in activities such as swimming, fishing, and 4WDing along the soft sand dunes. For the adventurous, Wagoe Beach Quad Bikes are conveniently located nearby, providing an opportunity for an off-road quad bike adventure.

The camping area, situated amidst the sand dunes, accommodates tents and camper trailers. Basic facilities include bush toilets, industrial bins, and a chemical toilet dump point. Lucky Bay is open to camping with dogs, provided they are kept on a leash at all times.

It is essential to note that fresh water is not available at Lucky Bay, necessitating campers to be self-sufficient. Therefore, it is advisable for campers to replenish their fresh water and food supplies prior to their arrival.
