Live Ningaloo's Whale Shark Day Tour in Exmouth offers an intimate swim-and-snorkel experience on the luxury vessel Wave Rider, capped at 10 guests (swimmers or observers). Operating March–July, the tour runs 8:30am–2:00pm (plus transfers) with complimentary Exmouth township pickups and drop-offs. Crew provide wetsuits, mask, snorkel and fins, plus a pre-swim briefing led by a marine-scientist guide. After an initial reef snorkel, spotter planes help locate megafauna such as whale sharks, manta rays and, seasonally, humpback whales; guides coordinate safe water entries while a professional photographer captures deck and underwater images. The day includes snacks, catered lunch and a closing sparkling toast. Pricing lists AUD $890 per person; private charter is AUD $8,900. Bring a hat, sunglasses, towel, sunscreen, warm jacket and seasickness tablets.
