Day 1: Road Trip North – Perth to Kalbarri
Leave Perth and head north along the Coral Coast Highway towards Kalbarri. Stop in Geraldton for lunch before taking a detour through the rolling landscapes of Chapman Valley. Call into Burnt Barrel for a tasting and a taste of the region's local flavours before continuing north. Next stop is historic Northampton, where you can check out the…
Leave Perth and head north along the Coral Coast Highway towards Kalbarri.
Stop in Geraldton for lunch before taking a detour through the rolling landscapes of Chapman Valley. Call into Burnt Barrel for a tasting and a taste of the region's local flavours before continuing north.
Next stop is historic Northampton, where you can check out the life-sized statues celebrating the town's famous AFL players and grab one of the famous vanilla slices from The Shearing Shed Café before you leave.
From Northampton, take the scenic coastal route via Port Gregory and stop by the Pink Lake at Hutt Lagoon, where the striking pink hues create one of the Coral Coast's most recognisable landscapes.
Continue along the coast and arrive in Kalbarri in time to settle in and enjoy your first sunset by the Murchison River.

Day 2: Ancient Gorges & the Murchison River
Spend the morning exploring the spectacular inland gorges of Kalbarri National Park. Step out over the Murchison River Gorge at Kalbarri Skywalk, capture the iconic view through Nature's Window, or choose one of the park's walking trails, including Z Bend or the Loop Trail. Spend the morning exploring the spectacular inland gorges of Kalbarri National Park.
Step out over the Murchison River Gorge at Kalbarri Skywalk, capture the iconic view through Nature's Window, or choose one of the park's walking trails, including Z Bend or the Loop Trail.
For something more adventurous, join Kalbarri Adventure Tours for a kayaking experience through the river gorges.
Later, slow the pace with a sunset cruise along the Murchison River with Kalbarri Wilderness Cruises.
Finish the day with dinner and locally caught seafood at Finlay's Kalbarri.

Day 3: Coastal Cliffs, Ocean Views & Stargazing
Today, discover the coastal side of Kalbarri National Park, where towering sandstone cliffs meet the Indian Ocean. Follow the coastal road to Red Bluff, Pot Alley, Eagle Gorge, Natural Bridge and Island Rock, stopping at lookouts and short walking trails along the way. Day 4: Kalbarri from the Water, Land or Air

Day 5: A Slow Kalbarri Morning & Road Trip Home
Enjoy one last morning by the Murchison River with breakfast and coffee at Pelican Café. After breakfast, wander across to the foreshore for the morning pelican feeding before beginning the drive south to Perth.
